Black River Public School is a nonprofit school chartered by the Grand Valley State University. It serves more than 700 students in kindergarten through grade 12. The school provides developmental and systematic programs that promote the spiritual, intellectual, physical and social development of all students. It offers various athletic activities, including football, volleyball, wrestling, basketball, baseball, softball, cross-country, and track and field. The school s academic curriculum includes English, math, science, history, Spanish, physical education and social studies. Black River Public School provides various extracurricular activities, such as music, art, book fairs and field trips. It has a library and media center that provides a range of books and instructional materials. Black River Public School is located in Holland, Mich.
