General Info
House of ‘Que is a Hoboken-based restaurant serving up authentic Austin Barbeque. Situated on the Hudson River waterfront with an unparalleled view of the Manhattan skyline, HOQ is the premier destination for experiential barbeque in the Mile Square. The brainchild of award-winning Texas Pitmaster Michael Rodriguez, HOQ smokes in-house over 2,000 pounds of chicken, sausage, brisket, pulled pork and ribs weekly. Each cut of meat is hand seasoned before being smoked for up to 18 hours. Pitmaster Rodriguez’s proprietary rub saturates the meat, locking in flavor and exuding a mouthwatering aroma that ignites the senses. While the food is the initial reason patrons frequent House of ‘Que, they tend to stay into the night enjoying the complimentary entertainmentand congregating with friends around picnic tables in the dining room. On warmer days, the venue opens up to an 800-square foot waterfront patio that offers expansive views of the skyline on Hoboken’s historic Sinatra Drive.House of ‘Que is a Hoboken-based restaurant serving up authentic Austin Barbeque.
