Did not know what to expect, as this was my siblings and my first experience with a rehab facility.
We were so pleasantly surprised at the personal experience our mother received, the cleanliness and professionalism of the staff at the facility and quite frankly, the classy and beautiful presentation both inside and out that made her time there just a joy. She was there 60 days and by the time she left, was quite a bit healthier mentally and physically to get back into her routine.

As of this writing they have 60% occupancy I know why! Understaffed
Our LPN on avg has 22 people she takes care of nightly.
Physical Therpy is a JOKE.
Starting with the lying Director promises of changes and doing nothing and moving on to our less than favorite Jill! In physical.

Awful place! I've heard every excuse in the book from the aides, they're only there for a paycheck, a paycheck nearly every patient there has basically donated to. Employees refuse to help my family member, lied and said they aren't a nursing home only a rehabilitation center therefore she must do everything on her own, needed help getting up to use the bathroom, they told her no to go on herself. Tell her to hurry up, won't even help her sit up on the side of the bed to eat. They do not get in any hurry, use the excuse "we're short staffed" yet the staff they have are absolutely worthless. My family member is there for rehabilitation, yet how is she suppose to get better when she has absolutely no help doing so. When I am there I do their job for them which is pathetic. They come in and huff and puff the entire time, won't answer questions when she asks them, recently she needed help being pulled up in the bed and the response we received was "I got back problems I can't be pullin and messing up my back" THEN WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IN A NURSING HOME IM SURE MCDONALDS WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU. This isn't the half of it, I'm fed up, You chose your job, do it right or find another line of work. The elderly there do not deserve to be treated so poorly! This is a reoccurring problem at that place, I've met several people who've had similar issues and recently learned of a close friend who's grandfather was there and was psychically abused, she had to come on her lunch break nearly every day to help him eat because the aides refused. I've only met one nurse in the wing my family member is in who's been encouraging, gentle, and never once refused to help when needed. I wouldn't trust that place to take care of a cactus. It's heartbreaking to hear your loved one say "they're mean to me here." I have news for LCC, you've upset the WRONG woman.

Recently admitted my mother here. The admissions lady, khloe, was friendly and helpful with many of the questions i had, and believe me i had A LOT. Building is beautiful, therapists are wonderful, but the nurses could be better. Some nurses really care but others are rude and lazy.

My father was transferred from Memorial to Life Care In Hixson for some rehab after a fall. The place is a palace. Just gorgeous. We were checked in by Chloe and she painted a masterpiece of a picture for us. Problem - her masterpiece painting was a forgery. She lied through her teeth. She lied about our insurance coverage. She lied about Medicaid. She lied about scheduling for therapy. She lied about the availability of nurses and aids. I'm hard pressed to recall anything she didn't lie about. When we questioned a nurse about what appeared to be short staffed operations, she smiled and said "That's Chloe. She don't care about nothing but filling beds". When he was discharged, I never heard nothing. Went down to the place and pops was gone. So another lie cause Chloe said we'd be contacted before he was discharged and we wasn't. Once they got your money they don't much care.
