PTM Manufacturing, founded in 2000 and based in Newark, Del., offers its patented Techna-Duc insulation system to clients. Techna-Duc is a premanufactured four-piece system constructed for energy conserving polyisocyanurate insulation. The insulation is laminated in a multilayer arrangement delivering an installed system thermal efficiency equal to R-16 at the rate of two inches thick. The system is clad in an impact-resistant thick-embossed aluminum jacketing. It provides insulation configuration for exterior heating, ventilation and air conditioning ductwork. Techna-Duc is also a shop-fabricated panel system that can be constructed from drawings and installed with minimal field alterations. It has interlocking panels that are crafted from polyisocyanurate foam that prevents the growth of mold or mildew.
