Recently, I was in Hilo visiting from Scottsdale, Arizona. One of my teeth was aching but was hesitant to see a dentist since I haven't been to one in over 12 years!To make a long story short, I ended up in Dr. Nakashima's office where he and his staff took x-rays, cleaned my teeth, performed two root canals, repaired my chipped, front tooth, extracted a broken tooth caused by a cavity, fitted me with a splint and repaired a host of other cavities ... all in a matter of three days since I had to catch a plane back to the mainland!Needless to say, I did not experience any pain during and after all this work on my teeth.. Of course, I did take a precautionary measure by taking one ibuprofen pill after the extraction of my tooth but didn't feel like it was necessary. I've got to give credit for this seamless and painless ordeal to Dr. Nakashima and his efficient and courteous staff - they waste no time while making sure you're comfortable.
