Barett & Gould is a third generation family-owned and operated company that has been in business for nearly 60 years. Located in a nearly 45,000 square foot facility in Hillsboro, N.H., the company's history can be traced to Lynn, Mass., in the 1930s where Louis Barett started a manufacturing business on the first floor of his home. His oldest daughter, Ethel, married Howard Gould and formed a partnership that represents the foundation for the company today. It is a metal stamping and manufacturing company that manufactures a group of products, such as umbrella frames, cake pans, jingle bells, components for telephone switching and transmission equipment. B&G serves the automotive, computer, appliance, electronic, hardware and machine tool industries. It is a one-stop shop for precision metal fabrications and stampings, powder coating, silk-screening assembly, packaging and other value-added services.
