      Larry has been tuning my piano for more than 12 years and I would recommend him to anyone whose looking for a piano tuner. He's capable and very accommodating when you have schedule changes.       A glowing recommendation goes to Larry Fernandez of Allegro Piano Tuning and Repair. Larry has seen my musically minded children from "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star", at age five, all the way to college age on our Somher upright, a fine quality but cantankerous piano. That's sixteen years of excellent service. He goes way beyond the average tuning, carefully maintaining the piano itself. And, he's saved us money over the years by installing the Piano Life Saver System inside the piano. We invariably look forward to him coming with his spread of tools and huge positive energy; and, even if we aren't home yet, he knows to come on in and get started. To finish up each tuning session, Larry, the consummate musician, plays for us a burst of extemporized jazz in, of course, fabulous sound.       It's important that you understand what is going on with your instrument. All repairs start with a thorough evaluation. The results are shared with the owner through explanations and demonstrations that are clear and concise. If other services are needed, they will be discussed, rated in terms of what is considered an immediate repair need and what is a not so immediate repair need. Immediate repairs should be considered priority as they have a direct influence on the playability and function of the piano. Not so immediate repairs can wait as the piano is presenting as fully functional but there exists a deficiency that will surface later as a problem. I will fully disclose all individual costs of tuning and any repairs. Now that you have become educated to the needs of your piano, you are well prepared to choose the specific services that you wish to have addressed. Once you have made your choices and given their individual costs, a final total for all services will be disclosed. If you are agreeable to the services and charges, you will make the informed decision to move forward with the work. No work will be done to the piano without your informed verbal consent to perform said services. Once given a final total for services, that value will not change. There will be no surprise charges for services added to your bill. Â
