Was late getting in to town, called and was able to speak with the manager. He opened the office and came to meet us after hours and we were so thankful! After a long day of moving and driving, this was very appreciated. Facility is clean and secure also! Would gladly recommend to anyone a truck or storage.

I have only been with this company for a couple weeks, and I am already aghast at how disorganized and unprofessional they are. My initial walk-in was met with an attempt by the staff to pretend I was not there. After I received my unit and left, I found out they had misplaced some security equipment around their units. In addition to being shocked a company would just leave their equipment lying around, my mother and I received several inflammatory phone messages accusing us of stealing the equipment and threatening to call the police. Upon a return call, we were told we shouldn't have worried and they found the equipment. I also did not receive my e-document to sign for several days, and now that I've received it and tried to sign it I find it has been voided. I can only assume what the fate of my items in storage is at this point, but I assure you I will be calling and relocating to a new storage company.

I stopped in and was so impressed by the friendliness of the counter people and cleanliness of the facility that I chose this storage even before I was told the rates ! I was equally impressed that they didnt try to sell me more space than I needed. Very satisfied customer.

I did not have time to shop around when I had to suddenly move but my husband made a good choice! I have looked for storage closer to where I now live, but haven't found anything as clean, easy access and well managed! I was impressed when the manager came out to help me get in the gate and called me by name when I was forgetful!

My girlfriend and I had a sudden need for a place to store our belongings during our move. Our original plans fell through at the last minute. We looked all over the place for something... every storage place we saw, we stopped and inquired... we looked online and called around... every place we found, something went wrong... the people we spoke with were either rude or pushy, units that we found were out of our price range, or not available... there was one place we ran across that looked as though the owners had entrusted the upkeep and maintenance to the rats and raccoons... we ran into every problem you can think of, and then some.. each place more discouraging then the last.. finally, with our heads held low and about ready to admit defeat.. we were actually on our way to get a shovel and some tarps so we could find a nice place to dig a hole and make our own storage unit... On our way to figure out our next move, we saw the Hillsboro West Self Storage, and kept right on going... enough is enough.. and we certainly had our fill of enough.. we went up the road aways... we stopped and looked at eachother... neither of us wanted to admit it, but we could tell we were thinking the same thing.. 'well... whats the worst that could happen?' It looks like a nice place... but then again, the last place that 'looked nice' turned out to be a horrible experience. The people were worse then door-to-door vacuum cleaner salesmen.. appearances can be deceitful... so.. VERY skeptical... we went inside and inquired about a unit... and it was wonderful!! The lady at the desk was great! Friendly, she treated us like real people, and not generic fake plastic nice, the -'thanks for your money now get the heck out'- nice. She was very helpful and kind. She offered us exactly what we needed, and wasn't trying to pressure us into getting a unit bigger than we needed for a "great -today only-just for us- price" like alot of other places. We got what we needed at a VERY reasonable price. The grounds are nice and maintained, everything is clean, no furry critters trying to run off with your suitcase, (that place was awful), everyone in the office is very friendly, all the time, not just untill after you pay..We recommend this place highly.. it gets 12 out of 10 stars in our book. : )

I just moved from Indiana and needed a storage unit right away. I received fast and VERY friendly and professional service. The units are very nice and clean. The prices are the most affordable around Forest Grove and Hillsboro. I feel that our belongings are very safe because of the gated system and security cameras. I would recommend the Hillsboro West Self Storage to anyone!

We were in need of a storage unit for my mother after moving her up to Hillsboro from southern Oregon. We knew that the office would be closed before we would be able to make it there. We called and they told us that they would open for us when we got there so that we could still store the belongings. They were so nice and the unit that we rented was perfect! I would recommend this to everyone in need of storage. It was refreshing to experience real customer service! Thank you Hillsboro West Self Storage!!!
