Epson Portland is a manufacturing and engineering services affiliate of the Seiko Epson Corporation, headquartered in Japan. The company has extensive manufacturing and engineering experience and capabilities. Epson Portland products and services include ink cartridge manufacturing for ink-jet printers, optical engine repair and refurbishment for LCD projectors, precision injection molding of proprietary plastic parts, usability studies of Epson and competitive products, building and engineering support for Gemini and Scrapbook Station photo business printing systems, and software and driver development projects. Epson Imaging Technology Center, a research and design division headquartered in San Jose, Calif., is also part of Epson Portland. It develops software and drivers for EPSON products in the U.S. and European markets. Epson America, a sales and marketing company headquartered in southern California, distribute EPSON products in the Americas. Epson Portland is headquartered in Hillsboro, Ore.
