I just picked up my almost 14-year-old Boxer from Pet Palace and I'm livid! She;s arthritic and depends on having two supplemental chews for pain management each night. I wrote up simple instructions and the young lady behind the counter also wrote up the same instructions on her chart. I was gone for 5 days and I counted out 10 chews. WHY were there four chews leftover when I picked her up this morning?! The instructions were simple...whoever administers the medications and supplements can't follow basic instructions! To add insult to injury, the young lady behind the counter this morning didn't listen to a single word I said about there being leftover chews! 10 chews x 2 + 5 days = 0 chews...basic math. She said, "There's some leftover because she didn't get her 'chew' this 'morning.'" What part of two chews in the evening can't they understand? If I were a dog, I would have bit her! What it boils down to is this...they can't follow simple instructions! Then they'll insult your intelligence and take your money! The worse part is that my elderly dog hasn't been given the proper care to manage her pain when they were trusted and paid to do so!! I'll be spending the next week regulating her body back to where her pain can be managed. Pet Palace is disgusting.

Please don't trust them with your pets...especially if they're elderly or medication dependent!

They were very nice and the facilities were great. However, we dropped our dog off for daycare and learned that they are isolated in a cage for the majority of the day. Their "daycare" is one hour of group play in the morning and one hour of group play in the afternoon. They said it was because dogs in the past would get "too tired" and become physical. While we understand that, 1- that is not what we pay for. She has free reign of our house and would get more energy out alone all day than in a cage. 2- If that is the issue, dont allow the physical dogs to come back. The facility is only 4 minutes from our house, but we will drive further to seek a true daycare experience.

Spectacular! This is my first ...

Spectacular! This is my first time having my dog groomed at Pet Palace in Hilliard and I just wanted thank Kimberly for doing such an amazing job on her. It was the finest groom my dog has ever received and I've already re-booked for another groom in four weeks (she recommended that I book every four weeks to keep her in good shape). Also, everyone should be aware that she grooms the dogs and cats in this front room with a window, I just love the fact that I can see how my pet is being treated. Overall, the best experience my pet and I have experienced. P.S.- Try the shampoo upgrade, my dog smells so great!

What a great place

I boarded my dog for the first time for a three day stay. The staff was great and listened to my concerns. I called them on day two and they gave me a progress report which put me at ease. Three day stay with play groups, large kenel, and bath all for less than $80. I have no need to shop around for a better place, there just isn't one.
