The range has the typical unmanned outside payment lockbox that is "on your honor". On my first and only visit I didn't realize you ABSOLUTELY MUST fill out the range form and put your $ in the box BEFORE you do anything. The range person came out and started screaming at us that we had to do it BEFORE we shoot. I apologized and tried to explain it was my first visit and I was going to fill it out while I was there. He kept screaming at us that we obviously couldn't read and must be stupid because the sign said to do it before you start shooting. I apologized again and tried to explain that I didn't realize it mattered when I did it and that I would fill it out and pay right away, but he kept screaming at us and said I was a liar and that we had to pack up and leave and not to come back. I never raised my voice or was disrespectful. My friend and I were completely shocked by his behavior! I have heard that others have had similar experiences at Ox Bow.
