Most awful experience imaginable. I took my child here because she was self harming. DO NOT EVER take your child to this facility. They put her in isolation for two days because she was in the same room as someone with the flu. She received no care during this time. She only saw the psychiatrist one time during her very expensive stay, and not the one that was initially assigned to her . They diagnosed her with depression and then put her on a non-FDA approved drug for the diagnosis. Now we are fighting side effects such as severe suicidal thoughts and hallucinations. They refuse to take my calls, and keep telling me to follow up with my aftercare provider. Our family needed help, and they only provided worsening circumstances. Please, if you care about your child, stay far away from this place

Highlands is a gem. They helped a family member of mine in her darkest hour and helped her get better. The staff is professional, truly top rate, and know what they are doing. The facility is very clean and well run. The staff cares about the patients and they are committed to these kids. I can't say enough positive about this place. We are blessed to have them in our community.
