Welcome to Montessori Connection! Highland Park Montessori offers pre-school and kindergarten programs in Highland Park, Illinois for children six months to six years of age. All races and origins are welcome to join our early learning environment. All of our teachers have Montessori certifications, and our school is affiliated with the American Montessori Society. The goal of our school is to help children become creative, competent human beings who are fully aware of themselves, of others, and of the world around them. Classroom activities include: • Art • Geography and history • Science • Language Arts • Music • Mathematics Fun and social activities are included as well! i.eI signed my son up for the full day program. The school knew that my son has speech delays and occupational therapy needs. They agreed to allow a speech therapist to come to the school (most schools do). On the business day prior to my son's first day of school (my husband and I both work full time), the school told us in a PC way that the school was not a "fit" for my son and that they thought that he could be disruptive and need one on one special attention. What 2 year old to a new preschool doesn't need special attention? This school was totally dishonest and I think that there are discriminatory practices going on- I don't recommend this school to anyone. ., A local favorite, or highly recommended because
