Highland High School serves students in grades 9 through 12. The school s academic curriculum includes art, business, English, math, science, social studies, and health and physical education. It also provides special education programs for students with developmental disabilities and conducts classes in several foreign languages, such as French and Spanish. Highland High School participates in the National Honor Society. It operates a library media center that has a collection of over 10,000 volumes and more than 50 periodicals. In addition, the school has over 35 computers. Highland High School offers a variety of sports activities, including baseball, basketball, bowling, football and soccer. The school also operates drama, multicultural and ski clubs, as well as a career and technical center. Highland High School is governed by the Highland Central School District in the state of New York.
