Shadybrook Elementary enrolls more than 500 students in prekindergarten through grade five. It offers academic programs in reading, writing, language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The school additionally conducts classes in art, music, Spanish and physical education. Shadybrook Elementary also offers the English for Speakers of Other Languages program. It has a guidance department that provides counseling and support services to students, teachers and parents. The school has a parent-teacher association that organizes a range of fundraising events. In addition, Shadybrook Elementary supports a student council. It is located in High Point, N.C., and is a part of Guilford County Schools.
