Founded in 1920, it has remained a private company and has grown into a manufacturer that operates from a 140,000-square-foot facility in High Point, N.C. The company s in-house capabilities include knitting, dyeing, bleaching, boarding, embroidery, packaging, shipping and distribution. Harriss & Covington Hosiery Mills is an employer of nearly 300 people who operate the close to 250 knitting machines that produce its wide range of sizes and styles of socks.
