Founded in 1926, East Street Elementary School educates students in kindergarten through grade five. Its basic curriculum includes several subjects, such as reading, writing and math. The school s students participate in music performances throughout the district. East Street Elementary School offers a parent-teacher organization that participates in fundraising activities to support charitable causes and vital community programs. It offers a range of extracurricular programs, such as Math Olympiads, band, orchestra and chorus. The school supplies pocket folders, pencils, metal scissors, glue sticks, crayons, washable markers and water color paints. East Street Elementary School is a part of Hicksville Public Schools and is located in Hicksville, N.Y.
