The food here is mediocre and sometimes borderline edible. The eggrolls always taste old. Not sure if this is due to not changing the frying oil often enough or just old/inferior product. We ordered chicken chow mein once and the "chicken' was so obviously some kind of textured soy product (NOT meat) we could not stomach it. The sweet and sour chicken comes with a bowl of irridescent pink dipping sauce (which I know is typical with chinese fast food) but it is OBVIOUSLY being watered down!! It is totally tasteless and too thin to stick to your fried "chicken" pieces. Come on, how expensive is sweet and sour sauce and how much are you saving by watering it down? I advise all to steer clear of this place. And if you do go, get the packets of duck sauce for dipping and pour the pink stuff down the drain.

Used to be my favorite place but the quality has gone down hill at a rapid pace. Tonight will be my last visit to the China Garden. I ordered the sweet and sour pork and it was so hard I thought it must have been left from lunch. The sweet and sour sauce has been more watery everytime and the rice had no flavor at all. The portions have become smaller as well as the size of the meat. (Chicken is now the size of large pebbles, all breading, little meat)
