Lincoln Elementary School originally began as a junior high school in 1957. Today, it enrolls students in grades three through six. It offers a variety of educational opportunities for the physical, emotional and mental development of students. Its academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as social studies, reading, English, language arts, science and mathematics. The school offers special education programs for students with special needs. Its Title I program provides supplemental educational services and is a targeted assistance program that serves children in kindergarten through grades five. The school s media center stocks a variety of reading and reference materials and electronic resources, as well as utilizes an electronic card catalog system for managing daily library tasks. Lincoln Elementary School is a part of Hibbing Public Schools and is located in Hibbing, Minn.
