Located in Hesperia, Calif., the Cypress Academy offers a range of academic and extracurricular options to students in grade six. The academy s curriculum includes geography, math, language arts, science and English. It maintains a library and media center that stocks books and periodicals and provides links to search engines. The school also operates a student council and parent-teacher club. The academy conducts special education programs, as well as offers health services. In addition, the Cypress Academy employs computer learning and bilingual specialists. Founded in 2005, it is a part of the Hesperia Unified School District, which owns and operates various day, middle and high schools.
