I needed a shotgun for an instructor's course coming up, and not only did Luke and the crew help me out big time, they did it at a price lower than any other gun store with 50 miles. (Wal-Mart included.) The shotgun's price was so good, I ended up buying a handgun for my wife. I will definitely return again, soon.

I didn’t know what to expect after reading some of these older reviews. I stopped in there one day and everyone was very nice and helpful. I’ve been back several times and have purchased a couple rifles, one being an AR15. I’ve yet to experience anything but a friendly and helpful person from behind the counter. I also find their ammo prices to be in line with everyone else if not a little cheaper on some brands. They have a nice selection of AR parts too! I walked in one afternoon and they changed out a rear sight on my 1911 while I waited.

I had a great experience here despite what the other reviews say... can never tell who is who on these things, may be personal. I also think they have recently changed some personel. Anyways, ive been in the store 3 times and have been treated very well. I always got acknowledged when i walked in and asked if i had any questions. They handled a transfer for me a couple of weeks ago on a Mak 90 i bought online and were very helpful in the process and answered a few questions i had, and i didnt even buy the rifle from them... most places ive been in wouldnt take the time. I also noticed they had the exact same price on a couple of things i am familiar with... (M&P series handguns and Tula 7.62x39 ammo) as the big box retailer Sportmans Warehouse... but with personal assistance and customer service, so why not spend your money at a place where it stays in the local economy instead of some corporate company? I will defintely recommend Desoto Defense Armory to my friends.

This place is WAY overpriced, and I never feel wanted in the shop. It's like it's a bother for them to help me.

I would stay away. The staff there seems to be elitist gun guru's that jump all over improper nomenclature like a pack of cackling hyenas. Recently they advertised 500 count of .22lr for 42.99. When I called them on their obvious price gauging, the owner cited outrageous gas prices and how I'll save money looking for that product. Its funny how he'll mention gauging at the pump to justify it in his own business in the same breath. He also told me to stop crying, and if I didn't like the prices, don't buy it. What a maroon! I'd say take my business elsewhere, but I don't see them being open too long.

I had a grand in pocket to spend thinking wow new gun shop.came in store kinda small thats ok young lady said hello cool I try to look in gun cases but I guess the owners buddies had them blocked by sitting in front of them no problem I'll ask what I'm looking for. ask simple question well I guess I didnt say the term right and get treated like a fool from owner and his buddies well I have taken my $1000 and gone to another store who ordered the item I wanted.....no one like to be ridiculed...no one stay away..
