My kitchen sink got damaged so I visited this store. The guy in the water repair station helped me find what I need and even assisted me in how to use the proper tools. Thank you very much.

Purchased chandelier and bath lights on line. BOTH were repackaged! ugh. Went to this store thinking it was going to be "boutique" pricing and they were AWESOME!! Great customer service, lots of selections and even though we had to order the large chandelier, I knew it would be taken care of if it came in broken. It didn't AND THEY DELIVERED!

Was told to go downtown but a lighting store across town was running an ad so we went. What a great hidden gem they were. Great customer service, more than we expected and they had really good pricing on very high end pieces we'd seen in Franklin. Strange shopping center but a terrific store!

The contractor we used to remodel our home suggested we go to Home Expo. Very confusing, hard to get someone who knew lighting and the sales guy really wanted us to have him come to our home to decorate! Very stressful. We went to Hermitage, a lighting showroom down town and we felt like we were being sized up. We were pretty much handed a clip board and told to come back to a customer service rep. We left the store.

On our way home, we called our contractor and he told us about a lighting retailer in Hendersonville.

The staff at Essence Lighting were not arrogant, they asked really good questions that helped them help us, they did not once ask us about our budget and they were sooooo nice! Please shop there, they were great!

I just moved into a new home in Hendersonville and didn't want the standard Home Depot or Lowes standard stuff. I also couldn't afford a decorater, so I decided to shop around. I went to 3 stores, this being my 3d. The prices were competitive, and the staff was friendly and extremely helpfull. I wanted a light over my dining table, though I didn't dare think I could afford a chandelier. I walked out with a chandelier, 2 wall lights for my hall (sconces aren't even a fitting name) and a lamp! It makes the rooms flow together but gives each room a unique look. I even saw a painting there that I plan to go back for!



It's a great shop with great bargains, and I feel like I made friends. If you are looking for lighting, unique pieces of "something" to go in your home or whatever, you'll find it here!
