Established in 1887, the Hendersonville Police Department offers a wide range of programs and services to residents. It undertakes fingerprinting and security assessment services and provides child identification packets and reports on accidents and criminal activities. The department also offers online resources, workshops and training programs on the prevention of theft and burglaries. Its areas of responsibility also include implementation and enforcement of federal, state and local laws through its trained offices.
