General Info
Dr. Daniel Royal was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina while his father was attending medical school and his mother nursing school at Wake Forest University. His father's service in the Air Force moved the family to Texas and then Oregon. Daniel began working in his father's private medical clinic in Eugene, Oregon when he was 14 years of age. At that time, he worked in the lab developing thyroid tests and x-rays. In 1980, following a 2-year church mission to Hamburg, Germany, he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and worked in the homeopathic pharmacy of the Nevada Clinic. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from UNLV, he attended the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific where he obtained his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine. In 1990, upon completing his residency in Mesa, Arizona, Dr. Royal obtained his licensure in Nevada, apprenticed with his father, a homeopathic physician in Las Vegas. In the 1990's, Dr. Royal became Board Certified in Family Practice and obtained additional training in medical alternatives in Europe and Canada. He also spent time practicing medicine in Lancaster County Pennsylvania where he worked in a rural clinic on an Amish farm and served as the physician to many of the Amish and Mennonites. Eventually, he returned to Las Vegas and opened his own clinic, “Royal Center of Advanced Medicine”. It was during this time he began attending the part-time program at UNLV's William S. Boyd School of Law. When he graduated, he was one of only two people in the UNLV Law Class of 2002 to have taken and passed the U.S. Patent Bar and be licensed as a patent agent with the U.S. Patent Office. He also passed the Nevada state bar exam and is licensed to practice law. Currently, Dr. Royal is practicing medicine and serving as Chief Physician and Medical Director for Royal Medical Group, PLLC (“RMG”). For more information, go to: www.royalmedicalclinic.com.
