My son has asthma and I took my son for his first visit w/Dr. Dushman. Dr. Dushman had seen my younger son and I liked the office staff. That changed because when I took my 9 yr old to have him write a referral for a asthma specialist and add him to this office as a new patient, Dr. Dushman said he could treat my son for asthma. I perferred to have the children's lung specialist because they were so highly recommended. Dr. Dushman got very upset and said I could call him to practice medicine not secretarial work. The unprofessional man stormed out of the room fuming. I am glad I didnt have my son treated there. If he thought I would be upset that he got mad, he is wrong! I am more confident I made the right decision. I am glad my son wasnt paying much attention and didnt hear how he treat me. I left and held my mouth shut because I didnt want to get upset in front of my son. I will not go back not even for my other son. We will find a new pediatrician!

He really cares about your children no what day of the week it is or even what time of year it is. My 2nd daughter was born around Christmas and had jaundice and he called every day while on vacation to check her levels and make sure she was okay. He was clearly with his family and trying to enjoy the holidays but was really concerned about my daughter and her well being. He takes his time with his patients and really gets to the point about everything that is going on. He will ask you questions and give you time to think about things and figure out the best possible thing for your children. I highly recommend him to everyone. I would never give him up even if our insurance doesnt cover him i will pay out of pocket if i have to.
