i.e.,I wanted to sell some old gold jewelry I owned and went to a couple of stores looking for the best price. The first store did not seem to have the time to wait on me and the second only offered a reasonable price after I started to walk out the door. At Anthem Jewelers was warmly greeted at the door and was was soon walking out the door with a check for my old jewelry and at a very good price. If I could rate this store a -0 I would. I had several rings, bracelets and necklaces that I wanted to turn into cash. I also had an antique wedding ring with a 1.20 ct diamond. The stone was f color and vs1 clarity. The guy behind the counter said that because it was an old miner cut, it wasn't worth anything!!!! [ I sold it to another local jeweler for over $1000 ]. He then offered me an amount that was about 1/3 the amount I was offered elsewhere for the rest of my jewelry. Mind you, my jewelry was all high quality stuff that was in like new condition. I never felt more like punching somebody in the mouth than I did that guy. Be forewarned, this place will flat out cheat you, they should be investigated. Please do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this store. You will thank me.

I have never walked into a store and felt more like i was going to get cheated then when i walked into anthem. I would have been cheated if i had not shopped around and gotten a qoute for my old jewelry i wanted to sell, anthems quote for my gold was significantly less then what i had been qouted by another store. So if you like to get swindled this would be the place!

They take good care of their customers! I took some old jewelry in that I didn't think would be worth much but they gave me cash for it and more than I expected. I saw a few things in the display that really caught my eye so I'll be back again.

I walked in a ways back to get a price to size a ring I brought in. I waited a while and NOONE was there!!! (more employees than actual living customers !! I see now why that was)The douche of an owner (hideous looking man on the commercials) helped me 2nd rate. He looked at the ring with a douchey attitude and gave me an outrageous price to size and appraise it. Too bad for him I own alot of jewelry and dont mind paying for it to get cleaned. Avoid at all costs !!! Find another jeweler !!!
