Located in Hebron, Md., Westside Intermediate School is governed by the Wicomico County Board of Education. The school offers educational services to more than 500 students in grades two through five. Its curriculum includes classes in English, reading, math, science and social studies. The school also provides lessons in art, family and consumer science, technology and health education and computer applications. Its school system conducts various events, including wrestling, basketball, track and field, tennis, baseball, softball, lacrosse, volleyball, golf, soccer, field hockey, cross-country and football. The school system s staff includes guidance counselors, resource teachers, occupational, speech and physical therapists, psychologists, special education teachers, nurses, and gifted and talented educators.
