North Pointe Elementary School offers education to more than 700 students in grades kindergarten through five. It provides academic and athletic programs to students and its curriculum includes programs in mathematics, writing journals, cursive writing, reading, social studies, science and English. North Pointe Elementary School also provides programs in music, physical education, band and art. Additionally, the school offers a program in history that includes studies in ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece and Rome. Its staff comprises counselors, and speech and occupational therapists. The school s sports activities include basketball, football and volleyball. North Pointe Elementary School has a counselor department that assists students in study skill and career education.
