The Heber City Police Department works to prevent crime, preserve peace, and protect the rights, lives and property of the city residents through the enforcement of local, state and federal laws. It operates a communication center that coordinates responses to various calls and dispatches personnel for police, fire, and medical emergency and nonemergency cases. The department supports the Crime Stoppers program, which assists in the identification of criminals. The Heber City Police Department also operates patrol, K-9, investigation and animal control units. It handles cases related to burglary, accidents, domestic violence, assault, sexual crime, vehicle lockouts, civil complaints and drugs abuse. The department maintains a community emergency response team that responds to high-risk emergency situations. The Heber City Police Department is located in Heber, Utah.
