Jack scammed me out of $6000. I paid to have a new engine installed and to have the out drive gone through. Fourteen weeks later, I found Jack had moved over to Daniels road and abandoned my boat at his old shop. When I tried to get in touch with Jack, he would not return my calls until I threatened to call the police, then all of a sudden I got his call and made all kinds of excuses, his wife had a stroke, his son ran off to Oregon, and on and on. I demanded my money back, he sent a text saying he spent it on parts. My boat never received any parts or labor, and Jack refuses to return my money. He let me know in no uncertain terms that he knows how far to go to keep things a civil matter, so you have to take him to court, and he says he has his assets hidden well, and I would not be the first to sue him in an attempt to recover my loss to him. I am now in the process of filing a claim against Jack D.B.A. Gearhead Guys and would like to know if any other customers he has scammed would like to join a class action suit against Jack.
