Britney views practicing medicine as a true privilege. She seeks to provide for those patients whose healthcare she has been entrusted with the best care available, listening to their individual needs and treating them with compassion. She values both the importance of preventing illness in her patients through empowering them with education and health promotion and improving their overall quality of life. She is very excited to continue her career practicing medicine as a member of the Healthcare Associates of Texas team, with access to multiple ancillary services and new technologies. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Exercise Sport Sciences and a minor in Spanish from Texas Tech University. Later, Britney earned her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Midland, TX and completed her clinical program in the Midland/ Odessa region in 2014. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and the Texas State Board of Physician Assistant Examiners. She first worked in internal medicine in Odessa, Texas before relocating to the metroplex. Her professional affiliations include American Academy of Physician Assistants and Texas Academy of Physician Assistants. In her free time, Britney’s personal interests include tinkering with interior design, reading, traveling, and playing with her two fur babies, Harley and Barkley.

Very good discussion of symptoms and treatment. Great clinic & staff
Dr. Cornett first screened me over a video call and determined she wanted to see me in person. I was led by the nurse to a unit kept separate for sick patients. All staff members were wearing ppe. I felt safe through the entire process.
Dr. Cornett listened to all of my concerns and was very knowledgeable. She was quickly able to prescribe me medication for my illness, and also referred me to a specialist for my personal needs.
At my age- she ask questions that I'm not aware that I need to watch and be mindful of like blood pressure & gave me a goal on my A1C1 6.0 down to 5.ish
She is a super provider, she truly does care about her patient, you don't get brushed off from her and that is very hard to find nowadays.
Britany is a great Dr. assistant, we love her so much. She takes time to listen to what we have to say.

Coming from California I had to find a doctor In Texas for my health care. Not knowing any one by chance I saw her reviews and took the risk to select her. I made the best decision and she did not disappoint me. Such a wonderful human being. I feel very blessed to have her as my doctor.
Britney & staff made sure this pre op appointment for my hip replacement surgery would be completed in a timely manner. This included my heart Dr pre op appointment & stress test before she would insure results were completed & release all findings to Dr Burney’s office & the scheduled surgery, 6/17/21, at BAYLOR Scott & White in Rowlett, Tx.
