Bret Harte Middle School offers various academic and extracurricular activities to students in grades seven and eight. The school enrolls more than 450 students annually. It also offers classes in reading, math, science, social studies and language arts. Bret Harte Middle School has a library that includes a collection of books and reference sets. In addition, the school offers counseling and transportation services to students. Its facilities include a gymnasium, sports field and basketball court. Bret Harte Middle School is located in Hayward, Calif. The school is a part of the Hayward Unified School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
