- 559 Southgate Road, South of Hattiesburg, corner of Hwy 49 and Southgate Road, only a half mile from Camp Shelby. One hour from the Gulf Coast. We are located on the East side of Hwy 49 and the South side of Southgate Road. Across the street from Corner Fuel Exxon, Three Pigs Restaurant, Dru's Diner and Subway.

Motel rooms with 2-XLFull beds in each room. Each room has a microwave, refrigerator, curved shower rod in each shower to give more room, iron and ironing board, and a hairdryer. A large laundromat on property for both guests and the public. We offer a coffee in the morning. Closest motel to Camp Shelby, only a half mile from the gate on Southgate road. Across the street there is a truckstop and convenience store with a Subway and Hunts Pizza and a diner that serves a breakfast and lunch buffet and other restaurants across the street that are opened for lunch and dinner.Motel rooms with 2-XLFull beds in each room. Very nice, clean rooms. The managers were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again. Reasonably priced

I checked in at 3am & I had to check out at 11 am. That is the craziest policy that I have ever heard. When I asked why is this policy in place, the clerk asked me what do you think?????

The Dru's Inn is under new management and is American owned. The owners are great people and really care about their guests. The rooms are clean. Spacious and they added a four cup programmable coffee maker in the rooms, how cool is that I can program my coffee to be ready when I wake up. They have refrigerators and microwaves in each room. They added some amenities in the rooms and a great variety for their continental breakfast. I highly recommend staying there especially if you have someone at Camp Shelby.

If you are looking for the very closest place to be when you have a soldier at Camp Shelby whether saying goodbye or saying hello from a deployment - this is the place to be. Not the Hilton, but clean and comfortable, very small, so space is very limited but one minute's drive to south gate of Camp Shelby.
