Hatfield Public Schools is an educational system that offers academic programs to students and operates an elementary school and the Smith Academy. Its academic curriculum includes a variety of subjects, such as arts, English, foreign languages, mathematics, physical education, science, social studies and computers. The school also provides a range of athletic activities, including soccer, basketball, baseball, field hockey, softball, cheerleading and golf. It offers various extracurricular activities, including cooking, drama, chess club, martial arts, singing, the National Honor Society and a student council. Its Smith Academy is a coeducational, public high school that serves more than 200 students in grades seven through 12. The school system is located in Hatfield, Mass.
