Helen Cox Senior High School, located in Harvey, La., and established in 1969, is a coeducational public school that enrolls more than 1,000 students. It provides college-preparatory education to students in grades eight through 12. The school s curriculum includes English, language arts, foreign languages, math, science and social studies. Additionally, the school provides courses in business, art, physical and special education. Helen Cox Senior High School also provides higher learning opportunities for students having academic excellence. It additionally organizes various extracurricular activities, such as musical concerts, dance, band and marching, and it also offers the National Honor Society program. Helen Cox Senior High School has a library and offers student clubs and organizations. It also provides various sports activities, such as baseball, basketball, softball, football, volleyball, and track and field.
