I hired American Digital Video to transfer several mini dvs to dvd and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a similar service. I called around and ADV's prices were the best and the value was tremendous. They went the extra mile in terms of attention to detail and presentation. The project turned out better than I anticipated and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience.
