Located in Hartford, Conn., Parkville Community School serves more than 600 students in prekindergarten through sixth grade. Its academic curriculum includes art, business, English, math, history, social science, and health and physical education. In addition, the school conducts classes in music and family and consumer science. Parkville Community School operates a foreign language department that conducts classes in French and Spanish. It offers a range of extracurricular activities, such as band, chorus, orchestra and student council. The school s sports activities include soccer, flag football, cross country, tennis, field hockey, speedball, basketball, volleyball, wrestling, swimming, weight training, dance, gymnastics, and track and field.
