Dropped by the pharmacy at approximately 1:30, today, 5/22/2018, to pick up a prescription. There were NO OTHER customers in the facility, but there WERE at least five, maybe six women visible in the back of the store, behind the counter. I then stood at the check-in/check-out counter, next to the cash register, for AT LEAST five minutes, no exaggeration, receiving no acknowledgement of my presence by anyone.At least one customer came through the drive thru, and was served, while I waited patiently near the register still I was ignored. Finally, one of the 5-6 ladies previously observed, moved in my direction and asked if she could help me.I responded, Yes I was beginning to think I was invisible!To which, she responded, Im sorry, sir we just got a new computer system, whereupon I cut her off with, What the hell does THAT have to do with taking care of customers?!The rest of the transaction proceeded as though nothing out of the ordinary had just taken place no explanation;no further apology; just, Please sign here that will be $3.01, please; I said, Thank you, and left. I was steamed, but I held my tongue, rather than create a scene.And Im not trying to create one, now, but you will understand why, at 80 years of age, Im taking my business and that of my wife, elsewhere, from now on. We have been steady customers for the last thirty years, and it will be inconvenient for us to go elsewhere but go we shall!
