Love this apartment complex. Highly recommend. Exceeds expectations. Very reasonable. Repairs done in a timely fashion. Very flexible and friendly staff. You will not regret having your student live here!

I should've taken heed to these reviews! I wish I never would've wasted my money here. Extremely unprofessional staff, and the front desk is a joke. The 'computer lab' consists of 5 horribly outdated desktops that don't even run Powerpoints; the pool is covered and closed for most of your lease; parking is non-existant (but towing isn't!); all they care about is getting your money. What a joke. Did NOT renew my lease for next year, thank goodness!!!

I am very disappointed in the office staff at North 38. They are not very helpful, and will make a big deal out of "pulling your file" to find out any information. If you have a pet, be prepared to be scammed out of money as they will charge you a move in pet fee and monthly pet rent which just goes straight into their pockets. Wireless internet is awful. Walls are thin and windows are drafty.

Considering the price it costs to live there, you are much better living off somewhere else, even if it isn't furnished. As good as the maintenance workers are, a great apartment shouldn't have consistent issues like sewage. The walls are paper thin too, you can easily hear people in other rooms, from your own. The biggest problem though? Easily the Front Desk Staff. As young as they are, all they are is just salesmen/women. They don't care about you, they just want you to sign the lease and pay. They are unorganized and not all of them are up-to-date on the people living there or codes within lease. While this place looks pretty on the outside and has some nice add-ons to it, the employed workers there don't care about the people, are rude, and just want your money. Look for other places.

My roommates and I love the Late Night Shuttle Bus. It gets us where we need to go quickly and safely. North 38 is the only complex in Harrisonburg to offer this service and we really like it! It is so convenient and accommodating!

I love how my maintenance requests are "mysteriously" never entered by the staff, then finally when maintenance does get the request, it takes so long to fix! The management is so unprofessional and has no idea how to run the property, and they are very good at avoiding phone calls, bc they're "in meetings" even when you see them sitting in their office on facebook!

Completely awful. The building I'm in is less than one year old with massive cracks above two of our doorways. The railing on the deck is cracking under the building shifts. My window leaks water. This place will be worse than Ashby in less than 5 years. Look elsewhere.

Terrible apartments. Everything looks nice but it's very cheap. The lease office is full of rude people. Once you sign that lease they aren't so nice. The walls are so thin, you can hear everything through them. There has been flooded apartments with water AND SEWAGE! Fire alarms have also been pulled. These apartments seem so nice for college students but in reality they are stealing money from you and making promises they wont keep. I wish I had never signed that lease with them. They have dropped the rental prices as well as extended leasing agreements because no one wants to live there next year. I strongly advise you against living there. I can't wait to move out.
