      a beach that needs more

      We go to the beach every day to run. The view is nice the place is clean. The only thing missing is more stuff for kids ages 12 and up. Build an area for the kids to skate.

      Our township needs something like that. Build a big water park for the kids.

      It is rediculous that the pool and squirt zone close so early. By the time a parent gets out of work gets home, makes dinner it is 7:00 and the pool and squirt zone are closed. If they kept it open longer a parent could take the kids and let them get some exercise and fresh air while they sit relax and watch them play. We pay to much for a pass for it to be closed so early. Summer is short and sweet. Let us enjoy the evenings at the park with the pool and squirt zone open longer.

      Choose the Pool!

      Unfortunately, the beach water hasn't

      been the greatest in the past few years and has been closed to the public. Still they have a nice large

      clean inground pool!

      Metro Beach Metropark is a unit of the Huron-Clinton Metroparks system located in Mount Clemens, Mich. The main attractions in Metro Beach are the beach on Lake St. Clair, the Squirt Zone where children can play with equipment that shoots water. The park features a swimming pool; spray park; marinas; nature center; the 18 hole, Par 3 golf course; adventure golf; picnic areas, fitness trails and the Nature Study Area where more than 250 species of birds have been recorded. It provides facility for summer dance programs and concerts. The park is also available to rent for parties, weddings, meetings and other functions and events. Additionally, it provides catering services through advantage food service program.
