Provided by YP.comTubing on the Whitewater River at Green Acres Canoe Rental is a great way to enjoy a lazy float on the river. Tubing is relaxing as you just lay back and drift along with the gentle current. When we went we enjoyed some swimming holes and also a large sandy beach where the kids built their sand castles. The float took us about 2 1/2 hours on one day then another time we spent nearly 6 hours because the kids played a long time on the beach and swam. We pack a picnic lunch and bring frisbees and botchy balls. It is a great way to spend the entire day along the river. Green Acres also had placed a coupon that we had printed from their website too that got us some mini-golf for free when we went tubing. I know they regularly place discount coupons on their website for families to be able to take advantage of. Green Acres is family friendly and makes our river trips affordable. We have never been able to go to the movies this cheap.

Provided by YP.comBeing family owned and operated makes Green Acres a true family fun place. They spend a lot of time making sure that the environment is clean and safe so that you can have a wonderful time with your family. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I can't think of a better place to take my family and have a good time! You will not find better customer service at any other location. They take pride in their business and make sure that it shows.

Provided by YP.comFor canoeing and kayaking near Cincinnati, my family goes to Green Acres Canoe and Kayak Rental. We have also gone tubing and this season we are going to try out the rafting. We love swimming in the Whitewater River because of it's known cleanliness. We have checked out other outfitter's prices and Green Acres is by far the most affordable. They charge per person and that includes the kayaks and also the Old Town brand canoes which are considered a specialty canoe. You take whatever boat you want! We have never needed a reservation and have gotten right on the river within a short time of getting checked in. We have never been charged extra for not having a reservation either! The service is spectacular.

Provided by YP.comFor canoeing, kayaking, rafting or tubing, Green Acres is the only place that I will go to for a multiple of reasons. They are so convenient to Cincinnati and northern Kentucky. We use to drive to Brookville but that became an all day commitment. We like to get out on the river at the spur of the moment and be back home within 15 minutes of getting off the river. Green Acres does not require you to make a reservation and they won't charge you more for just walking in either! At Green Acres there is no set time to have to return off of the river, they just require you to be back by dusk. They take you up river and you return to your car so all you have to do is walk to your car and head home or play a round of mini-golf. They gave us a river map to help us gauge our time and location while on the river which helped tremendously. The map even points out great places to stop along the way and where best able to see the bald eagles. The grandkids love to swim in this river because it has excellent water quality according to the Ohio EPA. My son enjoys fishing it. He caught a 5lb. small mouth bass which he claims to be a trophy fish. The EPA has recorded 65 species of fish in the Whitewater River and say that it has 100% attainment of aquatic life. Green Acres also washes all of their equipment between uses.

Provided by YP.comWe love everything about Green Acres. So much to choose from for people of all ages to enjoy! All in one location & for reasonable prices! The location alone is simply beautiful with the surrounding country scenery & huge shade trees. There are shelters for picnicking & relaxing while the little ones play a few rounds of miniature golf. And if you want to make a day of it, you can rent a couple of canoes & take a trip down river. The business owners work extra hard at keeping the river banks cleaned up so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery. I can't say enough about the owners of Green Acres. They not only run the business but they also donate their time to helping the community. On two separate occasions they opened up their business to us so we that could host a fundraiser. They went out of there way to help make everything run smooth! Those who attended the fundraiser couldn't stop raving about the great location that we picked because of it's beautiful surroundings and the variety of fun things to do. We like to give our business to business owners who are consistently good and caring people who give back to their community...like those at Green Acres. We're lucky to have such a place to go to.
