Berry Metal Company is one of the leading technology-based designers and manufacturers of injection lances for the steel making industry. It is an ISO 9001 certified company. The company s plant is equipped with a non-ferrous sand foundry primarily for pouring high purity, high conductivity copper casting. Its machining capabilities include two state-of-the-art 6-axis computer numerical controlled (CNC) horizontal milling centers, two CNC lathes, as well as several manual lathes, mills and presses. Berry Metal Company s weld shop is staffed with certified weld technicians capable of welding dissimilar metals to include copper, carbon steel, stainless steel and nickel alloys. It supplies water-cooled oxygen lances, injection lances, sensor lances and oxy-fuel burners specifically designed for basic oxygen furnaces (BOF), electric arc furnaces (EAF) and other refining processes.
