Davis Pipelayer Inc. is a pipe line contractor that manufactures a variety of pipelaying machines and pipe layers. It is a division of the Davis Group. Located in Harlingen, Texas, the firm's products offer full lifting performance and functionality at various radius positions. It also provides a wider gauge, lower center of gravity and boom mounting inboard of the track frame. In 2004, Davis Pipelayer Inc. produced the first series of Davis Pipelayer model DPL 2583. In 2007-Volvo s licensed Pipelayer received award for its contribution to the onshore pipeline construction.
