Medcomp was founded in 1978 to produce and market vascular access catheters for acute hemodialysis. At that time, catheter technology was in its early stages of development. The company distributes its products through more than 10 United States distributors and nearly 90 international distributors. Medcomp is recognized as a global market leader, that tailors its products and technology to the demands of several geographic markets. It also provides registration support to all international distributors by assisting with formalization and legalization of documents as required by their governments. Medcomp is headquartered in Harleysville, Pa.
