Established in 1970, Hazen Union School is affiliated with the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Located in Hardwick, Vt., the school provides educational services to students in grades seven through 12. It offers a variety of honors and advanced placement programs. The school also conducts classes in sociology, psychology, mass media, multimedia technology, and family and consumer science. In addition, it offers French, Spanish and Latin as foreign languages. The school provides a range of sports activities, such as baseball, softball, golf, basketball, soccer, and track and field. Its cocurricular activities include band, chorus, physical education and fine arts. The school s counseling program includes career and academic guidance services. In addition, Hazen Union School operates a parent-teacher-student organization and offers food services.
