On way from Savannah to Hilton Head saw billboard advertising gun range in 8 miles. Went out of my way for visit. I have been a gun shooter, collector & hunter for over 41 years & currently have a CWP in two different states. Upon entering store I saw nobody for 2-3 minutes, than a tall, gray haired man appeared & asked me if I needed any help. I asked if he had any AR-15's for sale, he said, no. I then asked if he had any .223 ammo for sale he said only for range use. I then asked if he had any laser sights for AR's, he said their in the case, but all this time never moved from where he appeared from. I did notice he was wearing a handgun on his right side. I then asked him (after looking in case for green lasers) if he had any green laser sights & he replied their in the case, again. I have never been treated so rudely & cold in my entire life! What ever happened to the customer being no.1? I have worked in other retail shops & if this type of treatment wouldn't be tolerated.

Rude, pompous and should not be dealing with the public. That has been my experience with the owner. Superior acting and seems like dealing with you is a bother. I have had noting but great dealings with the employees but they have been different every time I have gone. Place is clean and seems well kept but prices are high! I will go to Palmetto State Armory from now on.

Wandered in on a lark and ended up becoming a member. What a great bunch of people! Professional staff and friendly members have taught me a lot about sport shooting and have become great friends. My wife came to see what all the fuss was about and ended up joining, too. Not your usual range. Very safe, very family oriented.
