Specializing in high end California Cuisine with a Middle Eastern charm, FSLA Catering is headed by Owner and Founder Faisal Sultani. We are conveniently located in the South Bay area of Los Angeles with swift access to your next So Cal event. A 20-year career in the kitchen has brought Sultani to his ultimate vision of introducing guests to the exotic, yet familiar foods of his Middle Eastern and American heritage. Pulling from all regions of the Middle East, the Mediterranean and, North Africa, FSLA is California cuisine with a Middle Eastern charm. Think falafel-crusted mac and cheese fritters and Dungeness crab beignets with harissa sauce. In our kitchen, the emphasis is always on creativity, innovation, and seasonal menu planning. FSLA was born with a clear vision of giving each event a warm hands on personal quality that often lacks in the wide spread catering world. American Lebanese and East Coast native, Faisal Sultani boasts a high profile 20-year career as an Executive Chef. Sultani uses his background to uniquely incorporate Middle Eastern charm into many of his dishes. His extreme desire to personally be involved in bringing each ingredient from land and sea to your table is what brings our clients back for more. The fire to start cooking began shortly after his years attending boarding school in the U.K., with a suitcase and a dream Faisal flew to NYC to train in culinary school and spent some of his first years cooking in some of NYC’s most famous kitchens. Faisal was tapped to be the Executive Chef for the Washington Nationals Baseball team, cooking for the players and coaches in the Clubhouse. Faisal founded his first catering company, Clubhouse Cuisine, which was the first company in baseball that put an emphasis on healthy, delicious food for the players. At FSLA, we continue this tradition of making vibrantly flavored, ingredients-driven cuisine.
