BFPE International, a privately held company founded in 1970, is a full-service fire protection firm with an emphasis on total fire protection. It has installed a multitude of clean agent, dry chemical, wet chemical, sprinkler, fire alarm, specialized smoke detection and suppression control systems, as well as security and alarm monitoring. BFPE is headquartered in Hanover, Md., with branch offices in Chesapeake, Va., Sterling, Va. and Lancaster, Pa. BFPE also has offices in several North Carolina locations as well as one in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Each office can provide sales, installation, inspection, testing and engineering services. The company maintains an international presence and has completing projects in Bermuda, Egypt, Germany, Italy and Saudi Arabia. BFPE International provides scheduled preventative maintenance and testing for fire and security systems.
