The Long Island Center for Recovery, also known as LICR, is licensed 40-plus-bed inpatient facility that specializes in the treatment of alcohol and drug addiction. The facility provides a range of outpatient medical care services for its customers. It coordinates its services with care agencies, private practitioners, hospitals, insurance companies, managed care organizations, attorneys and criminal justice. The Long Island Center for Recovery provides group and individual counseling relapse prevention, and intake assessments, evaluation and treatment services. The facility additionally offers nutritional and recreational counseling services. It organizes various Educational lectures and workshops. The facility is accredited by The Joint Commission. The Long Island Center for Recovery is located in Hampton Bays, N.Y.
