The Hampshire Park District owns and manages several park facilities. It maintains gymnasiums, soccer fields and basketball courts. The district operates a meeting room for corporate meetings, presentations and gatherings. The Hampshire Park District organizes a range of community events, activities and programs for children and adults. The district is a member of the Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association, which serves individuals with disabilities. The Hampshire Park District administers preschool programs that offer educational services to children between the ages of 3 and 7. The district provides an extended care program, as well as conducts classes in martial arts, art, yoga, photography and dance.
